What to Expect
Saturday: Mixed Martial Arts Focus
Each training session includes a combination of:
Mobility: Enhancing flexibility and reducing injury risk.
Strength & Conditioning + Speed: Developing power, endurance, explosiveness
Technical Martial Arts Training: Submission grappling: Jiu Jitsu, striking: Boxing, Kick-Boxing, footwork, and situational strategies.
Team talks: built around our 5 growth measures, building confidence, character, and leadership skills, group discipleship and prayer
Uniform Suggestions
To help you feel comfortable, safe, and ready to train, we recommend the following:
Training Tops: Athletic t-shirts or rash guards
Bottoms: MMA shorts, athletic shorts, or leggings (no zippers or pockets).
Footwear: Barefoot on the mats (clean feet are a must), clean and dry sandals or Crocs if wearing footwear in the gym
Optional:
Hand wraps for striking sessions (Provided)
Mouthguard, a must if sparring grappling or striking
Boxing Shoes: when hitting bags or pads outside of mat space
Notes:
Come with proper hygiene and nails trimmed
Avoid loose clothing, jewelry, or anything that could snag during training,
Leave personal items outside of gym in lobby space
